Wai Lam is Software Developer at UPS and Lead Applications Manager at Aerial Technologies Inc (AT). Wai runs the FPV Race League here in Louisville, KY and is big proponent of drone technology in STEM education. I work with local educators on developing drone curriculum for their students. Hobbies are Photography, FPV flying and RPG video games.
Adrian Lauf is an assistant professor in the Computer Engineering and Computer Science department at the University of Louisville’s J. B. Speed School of Engineering in Louisville, KY. He completed his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering at Vanderbilt University, Nashville, TN in 2010, under the direction of William Robinson. Dr. Lauf’s research work seeks to integrate emerging embedded computing, networking and security applications with airborne robotics. Such work includes the development of cooperative navigation and flight techniques for Mobile Ad-hoc Network (MANET) aircraft arrangements, and finding new ways to secure mobile embedded devices. He is the director of the Aerial Robotics Lab at the University of Louisville, and is the chair of the Louisville chapter of the IEEE Computer Society.
